At the lake edge

Sitting in one spot can be very meditative especially when you just focus, but don’t really literally ‘focus’ on something. Here I try to capture the essence of the gently moving silver birch leaves, so elegant against the turquoise & blue waters of Lake Thun. There’s a feeling of lightness, peace and tranquility that this combination evokes. Sometimes it is good to take images which are very much not in focus. The subject becomes the impression of colour, shape and tonal contrasts, an idea of what could be versus anything that exactly is.
